Podcast Episode 016 and Episode 017 – Bobby Roma on Life and Struggles

Last updated on November 26, 2023

Approaching middle-age (50 years) as an autistic adult can be a miserable, difficult journey. For me, it has been one perceived failure after another. It can be difficult to see the great things in life when I look only at my career path. Thankfully, I have an incredible wife and two amazing little girls to keep me moving forward each day.

Artist Bobby Roma is also approaching 50 and has had similar challenges with employment, physical health, and the educational institutions.

These two episodes really capture the way many autistic adults feel. We struggle and often turn inward. We become disappointed in other people and in how society devalues us.

I have released The Autistic Me Podcast episodes 16 and 17 to the various feeds, including iTunes. The transcript of these episodes will be posted to the blog soon, but I thought it was important to post the audio on time to continue building our audience of listeners.

Here are the episode links and I will post the transcripts soon.
