I was barely able to walk on Tuesday, taking painkillers three times on campus. Driving to and from campus increases the pain dramatically. Maybe the pain would decrease if I were in better shape. I need to exercise. I also need to eat less junk food. The more I hurt, the more I struggle. I get tired and then I nibble late and night while working on school things.

If I could lose ten pounds, that would be great. But, exercising through the pain isn’t easy. Catch-22, I realize.

I’m taking the week off from audio production. The podcast is important to me, and something I want to get back on track during this break and the winter break. Though I have uploaded episodes to iTunes and the podcast hosting service, we have not been able to keep up with the transcription.

Season Two podcast episodes available:

Daniel Sansing on Autism Disclosures

Heather Conroy of Evolve Coaching

My Thoughts on Missing Obvious Health Warning Signs

Dayna Goldstein on Houses and Spaces

Joe Farrell of Evolve Coaching

Reflecting on Three Years as a Parent

Dayna Goldstein

Bobby Roma Part 2

Bobby Roma Part 1

Grayson Rumsey

Please subscribe on iTunes and post a review if you enjoy the podcast and would like to hear more. Also, I need guests and topics to keep expanding. If The Autistic Me attracts more readers and listeners in the future, maybe I’ll find a magical way to monetize the effort. Even more public appearances would help. Without additional income, the blog and podcast dent our bank accounts each month. I tell myself the cost is justifiable and hope that’s not self-delusional.

This week, I need time to catch up with grading and my teaching responsibilities. If I felt better, I’d be spending more time with my family… but in pain, it is best that I not be around anyone.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who reads this blog and follows the podcast.
