The girls were vaccinated, but the vaccine hasn\u2019t been effective this season as many news stories report. From ten to 30 percent effective wasn\u2019t great enough for our household. My wife and I were prescribed <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Oseltamivir\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Oseltamivir\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener wikipedia\">Tamiflu<\/a> and that might have helped somewhat.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m now struggling with minor <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Pneumonia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pneumonia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener wikipedia\">pneumonia<\/a>, with <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Chest radiograph\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chest_radiograph\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener wikipedia\">chest x-rays<\/a> showing that things aren\u2019t as bad as they could be. Too often, I end up with bronchitis followed by pneumonia during the winter. Flu was a change of pace.<\/p>\n<p>Sitting around coughing is the new family bonding activity.<\/p>\n<p>Apologies for the lack of blog activity and the missed podcast launch plan.
