The Next Generation<\/h2>\n

The Pennsylvania cats will be the last pride of rescue kitties. We love them and hope they are with us for many years.\u00a0Instead of adopting or fostering, we will find other ways to volunteer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our first PA adoption was Misty Kitty, who joined the family after J.C. lost his battle with cancer. We welcomed Lucy after Mimi died. Both Misty and Lucy needed a loving home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rocky and Wally, two brothers, joined us after Mutt and Alex died. They had bonded, and the shelter wanted to ensure the brothers remained together.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Riley and River were feral rescues who were frequent visitors to our backyard patio. We intended to trap them, foster them, and help them find new homes. Unfortunately, they were too timid to be adopted by another family.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hope was part of a trio we fostered. She was much smaller than her sisters and was missing an eye. Hope remained, while her sisters Faith and Charity found new homes.<\/p>\n

Charlie and Moe were about to be euthanized for no good reason, so we brought them in as fosters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

There will be no new furry feline family members.<\/p>\n

On to Texas<\/h2>\n

You might be thinking, “Yeah, sure. You’ll rescue more.” That’s unlikely because we moved from Pennsylvania to Texas. We don’t see many small animals here, probably because there are natural predators.<\/p>\n

None of our California pride lived to make the journey to Texas. We\u2019re glad they lived long, safe lives with us.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We have documentation that Rocky and Wally are considered emotional support animals. Beyond that, we must respect local ordinances and not add to our pride.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All are safe and sound here.<\/p>\n
