On November 19, 2023, The Existential Primer and our other websites suffered an almost catastrophic reset. No content was lost since we keep backups of everything, though I must reimport and reformat the content over the coming weeks. The reset offers an opportunity to revise everything, over the coming year or two. I kept saying I would update the pages, yet I never did. Maybe I’ll finally get around to revitalizing the content as I reformat the pages.
To describe the content as “stale” understates the neglect of this project. Launched in the mid-1990s, long before I returned to graduate school and became a university instructor, the site remained mostly the work of a frustrated undergraduate interested in the creative works associated with existentialism.
