Needy Kitty Needed Us
We first met Lucy shortly after Christmas 2012. She was in a cage with her sister, Daisy, at the local PetSmart in Monaca, Pennsylvania (not the same store as Misty Kitty). Daisy was a cute, energetic, black, medium-hair bundle of affection. She greeted everyone. Lucy hid in a corner. When we returned a few days later, the sisters were in separate cages. Daisy was still being cute, while Lucy was curled up in a litter box looking sad.
Daisy was adopted sometime before New Year’s Day, 2013. When we visited the shop that day, Lucy was cowering in her litter box, with a bit of dandruff, even more pitiful than before. Scott was sad that the two sisters had been separated, but even adopting one cat was a big decision.
Lucy needed us, much like Misty did.

Office Companion
Susan’s office is Lucy’s office, much like Mimi and Jordan were office kitties.
Though they could never replace “The Girls” we loved, we have noticed that Misty and Lucy resemble Mimi and Jordan. Lucy is a rambunctious calico kitty, with some of the traits Jordan had. Lucy does not like to be held, but she loves being near her people. Sometimes, if you sit still and don’t force the issue, she will climb into your lap and purr.
Lucy also loves heating vents, playing with toys, and climbing to the highest points in a room.
Not a Fan of Pumpkin
Lucy and Wally never felt comfortable with Pumpkin Kitty. Lucy avoided our bed, and sometimes the bedroom, while Pumpkin was alive.
