Transcript

Many of us labeled “Neurodiverse” struggle with anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. We grow up hearing that we are flawed, disorganized, lazy, and unreliable. Eventually, we develop a habit of negative self-talk that reinforces a poor self-image. Sadly, we enter a feedback loop of failure, assuming we cannot succeed and sabotaging ourselves.

We try traditional therapies and prescription medications to change ourselves.

Are there ways to find some inner peace and stop these negative cycles?

Welcome to Perspectives on Neurodiversity, a podcast dedicated to challenging myths and assumptions about Neurodiverse life. I am your host, Christopher Scott Wyatt, speaking as The Autistic Me.
